Almond Prune Sazerac

Make the drink.
Ingredients · 1 drink
- 2 oz rye whiskey
- ¼ oz prune syrup
- ¼ oz amaretto
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
- Absinthe rinse
- Ice
Method
- 1Chill the serving glass while you build the drink.
- 2Add all measured ingredients to a mixing glass filled with fresh ice.
- 3Stir for 20 seconds until deeply chilled.
- 4Strain into the prepared glass and garnish.
Occasions note
Keep the absinthe rinse thin; it is a scent, not a second base spirit.
