Make the drink.
Ingredients · 1 drink
- 4 oz chilled root beer
- 1½ oz chilled cold brew coffee
- ½ oz maple syrup
- ½ oz half-and-half
- Ice
Method
- 1Fill a chilled serving glass with fresh ice.
- 2Add the juices, syrups, and cream, then stir until smooth.
- 3Top slowly with the chilled soda and lift once with a bar spoon.
- 4Garnish and serve immediately.
Occasions note
Cold brew gives the drink a calmer coffee note than hot espresso. Use decaf if you want the flavor without the lift.
Batch note
Make it for a crowd.
For 6, combine 24 oz root beer, 9 oz cold brew, and 3 oz maple syrup. Serve over ice with ½ oz half-and-half per glass.
