Fig Leaf Old Fashioned
A warm old fashioned with roasted-fruit depth.

Make the drink.
Ingredients · 1 drink
- 2 oz bourbon
- ¼ oz fig syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Ice
Method
- 1Chill the serving glass while you build the drink.
- 2Add all measured ingredients to a mixing glass filled with fresh ice.
- 3Stir for 20 seconds until deeply chilled.
- 4Strain into the prepared glass and garnish.
Occasions note
Fig syrup should taste like fruit, not jam; thin it with a little hot water if yours is dense.
