Maple Root Beer Cream

Make the drink.
Ingredients · 1 drink
- 5 oz chilled root beer
- ½ oz maple syrup
- ½ oz half-and-half
- 1 dash vanilla extract
- Ice
Method
- 1Fill a chilled serving glass with fresh ice.
- 2Add the juices, syrups, and cream, then stir until smooth.
- 3Top slowly with the chilled soda and lift once with a bar spoon.
- 4Garnish and serve immediately.
Occasions note
Use real maple syrup. The darker notes make the root beer taste spiced rather than simply sweeter.
Batch note
Make it for a crowd.
For 6, stir 3 oz maple syrup, 3 oz half-and-half, and 6 dashes vanilla extract. Add to ice and top with 30 oz root beer.
