Ingredients · 1 drink
- 5 oz chilled cola
- ½ oz caramel syrup
- ½ oz half-and-half
- 1 small pinch flaky sea salt
- Ice
Method
- 1Fill a chilled serving glass with fresh ice.
- 2Add the juices, syrups, and cream, then stir until smooth.
- 3Top slowly with the chilled soda and lift once with a bar spoon.
- 4Garnish and serve immediately.
Occasions note
A tiny pinch of salt keeps the caramel from becoming cloying. Taste before adding more.
Batch note
Make it for a crowd.
For 6, mix 3 oz caramel syrup with 3 oz half-and-half and a scant pinch of salt. Pour over ice, top with 30 oz cola, and stir gently.
