Salted Caramel Rum Old Fashioned
A dark-rum nightcap with caramel kept in check.

Make the drink.
Ingredients · 1 drink
- 2 oz aged dark rum
- ¼ oz salted caramel syrup
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
- 1 dash chocolate bitters
- Ice
Method
- 1Chill the serving glass while you build the drink.
- 2Add all measured ingredients to a mixing glass filled with fresh ice.
- 3Stir for 20 seconds until deeply chilled.
- 4Strain into the prepared glass and garnish.
Occasions note
Salted caramel syrup should be thin and bitter-edged, not a sauce.
